Edmonton's First Afghan Restaurant

Afghan Chopan Kebab is Edmonton's first authentic Afghan restaurant, proudly serving traditional Afghan cuisine that reflects the rich culinary heritage of Afghanistan. In October 2025, we relocated to our new location at 381 Parsons Road SW to better serve south Edmonton residents.

Our establishment is certified halal and takes pride in serving authentic Afghan dishes. The restaurant features a spacious, well-appointed interior with a family-friendly atmosphere, including access to Afghan television channels and culturally authentic decor.

We are a family-run restaurant with attentive staff dedicated to providing personalized service and hospitality. Our menu features signature Afghan dishes prepared with traditional cooking methods, including clay oven-prepared kebabs and specialty rice dishes.
